Summer desserts are some of the best kinds. This one is perfect for gatherings with friends! This no-bake dessert takes after the well-known (and well loved!) drumstick ice cream.

The crushed peanuts and chocolate sauce make each bite the perfect blend. It is easy to store, serve, and eat. This Drumstick Frozen Dessert is a great crowd-pleasing dessert, and is particularly great when served alongside extra topping options such as chocolate and caramel sauce, chocolate chips, and cookie crumbs.

Drumstick Frozen Dessert

Crust:

  1. Spray a 9×13 inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside. In a medium bowl, combine the cookie crumbs, crushed peanuts and butter. The mixture will resemble coarse crumbs. crumb mixture in a bowl
  2. Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. crumb mixture pressing into bottom of pan

Filling:

  2. Using a spatula gently fold the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture. Cool Whip being added to the bowlCool Whip mixed into mixture

Topping:

  1. Drizzle chocolate sauce over the top of the filling. chocolate sauce drizzled over top

  3. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until firm, about 2 hours. 
  4. Remove from the freezer 5-10 minutes before serving. serving a slice of Drumstick Frozen Dessert

Drumstick Frozen Dessert

This Drumstick Frozen Dessert is a great crowd-pleasing dessert, and is particularly great when served with extra toppings.

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups graham cookie crumbs
  • ½ cup peanuts crushed
  • ¼ cup butter

Filling:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip

Topping:

  • Chocolate sauce for drizzle
  • ¾ cup peanuts chopped
  • 4 sugar cones crushed
