How to Make Homemade Lemonade in a Blender

When life gives you lemons…make lemonade! I’m forever on a mission to find how to make life easier and simpler. In that spirit, making homemade lemonade in the blender was a MUST. In the world of appliances, juicers aren’t exactly a staple in most people’s homes. On the flip side, who has the time to squeeze 10,000 lemons? Not me!

This recipe gives you delicious lemonade in 5 minutes.

Step 1: Zest, then peel your lemons. Add the lemon zest (per recipe) and the peeled lemons to a blender with cold water and sugar (more or less, depending on how sweet you want it).

Step 2: Blend until smooth.

Step 3: Sip, sip, hooray! Serve over plenty of ice.

Can I use Lemon Juice Concentrate for Lemonade?

I have a feeling some of you may ask if this can be subbed for a bottled lemon juice! While it may work (confession, I’ve yet to try), be sure to use a good quality lemon juice (I like the Santa Cruz brand!). This recipe is so simple and uses only 3 lemons; I would stick to the real stuff.
