While it’s not that unusual for celebrities to get into the branded cookware game, it doesn’t always mean the products they endorse are the best in class — or made from the highest-quality materials. However, there are plenty of times when they do exceed our expectations, and one A-lister who just dropped a fantastic new line of cookware is Stanley Tucci. We love the actor not only for his prowess on screen but also for his taste in cookware partnerships. His recent line was made in collaboration with GreenPan, one of our editors’ favorite brands known for their high-quality nonstick pans, durable designs, and sleek looks. I had the opportunity to try out the aptly named Stanley Pan, and after whipping up a few delicious meals in this bad boy, I’m happy to report that it’s the perfect piece for making cozy fall meals big enough to feed the whole family.

This Italian-made pan features GreenPan’s state-of-the-art PFAS-free ceramic nonstick and a three-ply stainless-steel body, which means you won’t have to worry about stuck-on food with this piece. It’s also massive — good to know if you’re working with a small stovetop — which is perfect for cooking for the whole family. Not only that, but the body of the pan has an aluminum core sandwiched between stainless steel, which helps with heat transfer and cuts down on hot spots. Plus, the rims of the pan are wrapped in stainless steel, creating a highly durable, chip-free edge — it also means that you can pop this sucker in the dishwasher with no worries. And, not only is it dishwasher-safe, but it’s also oven- and broiler-safe up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. (Heads up: The lid is only oven-safe to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.)

Why I Love the Stanley Pan

After making a few dishes in the Stanley Pan, I’m a big fan. While I think I’d like it even more if my apartment had a bigger stovetop — as opposed to the comically small range I’m currently working with — but even so, the larger cooking surface that the Stanley Pan provides is a huge help with braised dishes, especially because the high walls of the pan can hold a sizable 6.5-quarts of liquid. It’s also nice that it’s oven-safe, so you can start dishes on the stove and finish them under the broiler if you want. The heavy bottom is a nice touch, too, because you don’t have to worry about the pan sliding around when you’re stirring or flipping your food. Of course, you also get a great sear with the nonstick coating, which also makes cleanup a total breeze.

And, with a perfect 5-star average rating, I’m not the only one who loves the Stanley Pan. “As a mom of three children, I need all the help I can get in the kitchen,” one reviewer wrote. “This Stanley Tucci collection delivers on quality, performance and style! It does it all and more. Cleanup takes no time at all plus no PFAS chemicals. Thank you, Stanley Tucci and GreenPan!” So, if you’re ready to make the kitchen transition from summer to fall, this is a great piece to snag for whipping up stews, soups, braises, and pretty much anything else you might want to eat when the temperatures drop. Plus, as the holiday season gets closer and closer, this also makes an excellent splurgy gift for the cooking-obsessed loved one in your life!
